When you plug in it will star 8 hrs ON, then 16 hrs OFF. You can unplug then plug in it again to reset timer function at the right time you want it turn on.
Yes each candle has its own electric cord and plug.

It is real brass base with extra iron sheet to avoid fall down.
This is C26 7W incandescent bulb, not LED bulb
The fuse is in the plug. Just slide the lever open and the fuse is right there.
There is no switcher. You can unplug it to reset timer.
Here is one more thing
Love the Traditional brass base but it is too light, so we added an extra iron sheet to improve this.
Some look, some function, but better.
